Project Update
A few project progress highlights for you:
- 80% of the entrepreneurship training has already happened in Irimya
- 40% of the hygiene education is complete
- 2 of the 3 new latrine blocks have been built at the schools
- 11 km of pipeline has been dug
When a team of us visited Irimya a few weeks ago, we stopped in to see one of the entrepreneurial workshops in action.
Rosette was there with her friends. While she waits for clean water to arrive, she’s learning practical skills like how to sew sanitary pads and make soap and jelly for her family.
All things that she can do with the time she’ll soon have back in her day when she no longer has to walk kilometers for water.
You’re a big reason why moms like Rosette can now hold real hope for a healthier future for their families!
And that means even more this Christmas season.
