TapStand Volume 2 Edition 1: Widening the Net
We’re doing something a bit different and turning it over to ask you, our faithful committed champions, for help in widening the net.
Widening the Net
“I support Acts for Water because I know that my gift has tangible, real impact on girl’s lives in Uganda”
“It’s often hard to know where to make a difference. We give to Acts for Water because we can clearly see the benefit it has on the lives of women and their families in Uganda.”
Just like Holly and Erin, we know you have your story of why you support Acts for Water. You’ve made it possible for us to do this work for over 30 years now and we’re so grateful. You’ve helped over 220 000 people get water.
The biggest need for Acts for Water today is widening the network of people who can join us in giving, just a small amount so that we can continue this critical work of bringing clean water to those in need. This is why for this issue, we’re doing something a bit different and turning it over to ask you, our faithful committed champions for help in widening the net.
We have an ambitious “Moonshot Goal” of inspiring 200 new people to give $50 to Acts for Water by June 1 so that we can raise the amount needed to put in a TapStand at a School in Muhaha. This will give 500 kids clean, fresh water!
This may sound like a lot, but if only 25% of the people reading this, asked one new person to give $50, we’d meet our target to put in a TapStand at a school in Muhaha.
We know you care about our work, and our hope is that we can help equip you to invite others to start learning about us too. Would you consider introducing one person to Acts for Water, and inviting them to consider giving $50?
Copy this link and send it to a friend so they can join the Acts for Water community now.
Thanks so much for all you do for this community.
