Meet Imelda
“Once you carry your own water, you’ll remember every drop.”
~ African Proverb
I’m sure you can remember a time when you’ve been tested, or when life has felt simply more than you can handle – like a marathon. Perhaps you’re in a space like that right now.
And sometimes – just when you think you cannot walk another step – grace gets personified, and someone comes alongside to walk with you. They join you in the struggle, take a turn like a relay runner carrying the baton, and all of a sudden the journey becomes manageable, meaningful even.
To women like Imelda, you can be grace personified. Watch her story here, to see how you can help carry the baton – and join Imelda in bringing clean water and life-giving hope to her community of Masha Village.
Will you join Imelda and our team as we overcome together to transform their labour into something that produces life?
PS. I’d really love for you to watch Imelda’s powerful story at acts.ca/weovercome to see the transformational partnership you are a part of. It’s honestly one of my favourite stories we’ve shared!
