Publicly Traded Securities
Donating securities is the most tax-effective way to give. We gladly accept gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. The tax benefits of donating securities are far greater than the tax benefits of donating cash (credit card and cheque).
To Donate Securities:
- Download our signed Letter of Direction HERE
- Fill out the form with your Broker
- Send a copy to Acts for Water, a copy to our Broker (the contact info is on the signed Letter of Direction) and, of course, a copy to your Broker to release the shares.
