What kind of work does my donation help fund?
Your donation helps us build sustainable solutions to water shortage and provide convenient access to clean, safe water for people in rural Uganda.
If I’ve given to support a specific project, what happens to my donation if the fundraising goal has been met, or if the project is discontinued?
If a donor chooses to restrict a gift for use in a particular program or project, we will honour that restriction. However, if the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the organization, we will use the remaining restricted contributions where they are most needed.

What happens when I make an online donation?
When you make an online donation, you should receive an email confirmation message. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us. Be sure to check your junk mail for the email confirmation as well. Receipts will be mailed to the address you have provided.
What if my mailing address changes?
To change your mailing address, please call us at 778-855-4352 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your new information.
How can I cancel my payment?
If you would like to cancel your payment, or have any other trouble making a transaction, please call our staff and we will be happy to assist you.
What does automatic withdrawal and electronic funds transfer mean?
A pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account can be sent to ACTS each month. It’s quick, easy to set up, and there is no need to remember to write a cheque or buy postage! You can change the amount at any time.
How do I cancel or change a preauthorized arrangement?
You can easily cancel or change your monthly donation by giving us 15 days notice and contacting us.
When do I get my receipt?
Official receipts for Income Tax purposes are issued once per year. You may also receive your receipt earlier upon request, please contact us.
