World Water Day

It’s World Water Day, and your monthly gifts and their impact are a perfect cause for celebration!

With 39% of Ugandans still living in water scarcity, the impact of your regular giving is hugely substantial and truly matters. Because of you joining with this community of 220 other Source Supporters, the Masha Project this past year has impact that looks like:

  • 46 new tap stands + 51 repaired
  • 45 more safe, clean toilets at schools
  • 35.2 kilometres of pipeline laid
  • 18 villages reached
  • 1,952 households given hygiene training
  • 20,043 people served

But we can’t just measure this in facts + figures. I think we see your impact even more vividly when we notice that:

  • Becky sees a brighter, safer future because she collects water in minutes and no longer walks long distances for water in fear of danger or assault.
  • Harriet can support her family because she knows how to make soap and can sell it to her community for income.
  • Owen smiles with pride because he learned to wash his hands with soap, and his skin shines.
  • Nalugo doesn’t miss classes during her cycle because her school now has clean, private toilets.
  • The Masha community is developing business because power lines were installed after water access was available.

Real life change is taking place in real time thanks to your monthly giving! Not only that, but it also allows us the stability to plan for deeper impact in programs, spend less on fundraising, and deliver more water to more people

Thank you so much for your consistent commitment to creating lasting impact in the communities we serve!

PS. Your monthly gifts make a world of difference and are worthy of celebration! If you have something special to commemorate this year, consider celebrating it with a personalized fundraiser.
