There is a YOU in Team

I just returned from Uganda, where I watched our team members playing different but equally valuable roles, adding strength in so many unique ways.

Two key things stood out to me.

The Irimya Project – a huge team effort – is well underway! The ground’s been broken, water source mined, and flowing to the sediment tank. Soon, the trenches will be dug through the thick forest to reach the community.

The team is making big shifts! Tracey DeGraaf, Director of International Programs, resigned after six truly transformative years with us. She was an invaluable leader, guide, and support as our programming evolved to sustainably transform thousands of lives.

With this, we excitedly welcome Ambrose Bigaba as our new Program Director! Ambrose has been our Ugandan M&E Manager since 2021, with a strong mix of technical knowledge, experience, and leadership skills. (More on our growing Global Senior Leadership Team soon.)
