Three years ago, I made the first “fundraising pitch” to invite many of you to join us for a three year water project in Ibanda.
In June, through our ongoing Water And Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) program in Uganda, we placed a call for help to put together a soap making class as a part of our Covid-19 response. Many of you answered the call, allowing us to start the classes from scratch, reaching over 200 people so far in the process. And we've just started!
We’ve adapted our programming to create options for teachers to easily engage their students in the cause of global water poverty during this challenging time. Wherever you are in North America, we’d love to hear your hopes for your class and create an experience that works for your kids today.
It's been a crazy and eventful month for us here at Acts for Water. As Covid-19 continues to dominate world headlines, the team and I have been busy focusing our efforts on helping communities in Uganda respond to the ongoing crisis. We are so grateful for you, our community, who has rolled through the punches with us as we all adjust to the unknown. With that being said, we still have so much going on in the field and want to keep you connected with the impact your support is creating.
