Project Update
Progress is a powerful reflection of growth, resilience, and collective effort.
As we transition from Phase 1 to Phase 2 in Irimya, we are reminded of the transformative impact your loving support continues to have as more people gain access to clean water and all the life-changing benefits that come with it.
At a glance:
- The water system is making strong progress, bringing the community closer to a future where clean, reliable water is a daily reality. Phase One began flowing water to 7,000 people and Phase Two will reach another 7,000 when complete.
- Progress on the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives has already had a noticeable impact on public health, reducing the spread of waterborne diseases and creating safer, healthier living conditions for the people of Irimya.
- Entrepreneurship training for Phase 2 is now 70% complete, equipping community members with vital skills to contribute to the local economy, fostering financial independence and long-term resilience for the community.
Your ongoing commitment has also allowed us to break ground on a new project in Kasese. The team is nearly done setting up camp on the ground and have identified the source for the new water system. It is only a matter of time before more progress is made here too!
With each new milestone, your generosity continues to propel us forward.
Our mission is not just about completing infrastructure but also about building a future where access to clean water, sanitation, and entrepreneurship fuels sustainable change.
Together, we continue to move toward a healthier and more empowered Uganda.
