Project Update

The Irimya Project continues to make significant strides, thanks to your willingness to create a better world through clean water. 

A few project progress highlights for you:

  1. 90% of the entrepreneurship training has already happened in Irimya
  2. 75% of the hygiene education is complete
  3. 83% of the school latrine blocks have been built 
  4. 45% of the pipeline has been laid

This progress signifies a substantial step towards establishing a reliable water supply infrastructure. the success of community engagement and awareness-building initiatives.

With your support, we are committed to empowering local communities and promoting sustainable development. That’s where the entrepreneurship training comes in. Community members learn skills that further income for their families and build their local economy.

And, not only that, through a pilot program partnership with Thrive for Good, 50 new community members have also been trained on the establishment of Life Gardens – organic, sustainable micro-agriculture. In total, 114 people have participated in the training, which helps boost their nutrition and their income!
